1. Cry aloud, ye watchmen’s voices,
Cry aloud and do not spare!
Christ for witnesses is praying!
Teachers who are disobeying,
Their own judgment do prepare.

2. Truly, stones will speak His message,
If the watchmen hold their peace;
Yea, the silent rocks about them
Would proclaim the Word without them,
Should their testimony cease.

3. Therefore rise, all ye, His servants;
For Elijah’s spirit pray!
If as Lord ye would address Him,
Faithfully ye must confess Him,
And His holy will obey!

Point the nations to the Word!
Lead the healthy and the ailing
To that Fount of grace unfailing,
To the blood of Christ, your Lord!
